Asian Wrestling C’ship: China name 30-strong squad amidst visa uncertainty
Amidst uncertainty over visas, the Chinese Wrestling Federation has named a 30-strong squad for the Asian Wrestling Championships to be held in New Delhi.
The visa issues have led to uncertainty of the Chinese contingent’s arrival for the Asian Championships, scheduled to start on February 18 at the KD Jadhav Wrestling Hall at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

The visas granted before the virus hit China too stand cancelled.
However, the Wrestling Federation of India has taken up the matter with the government to ensure that the visas are granted to all the participants in compliance with the Unite World Championship and the International Olympic Committee directives.
