Sakshi triumphed over everyone to qualify from 65kg. Earlier 18 year old Sonam shocked Sakshi Malik last week to qualify in 62kg category to qualify for the Asian Olympic Qualifiers, Ranking Series event in Rome and Asian Wrestling Championship in Delhi.

After losing her place in the Olympic category she decided to try her hand at 65kg.

Like Sakshi it was redemption time for few others like Pinki, Gursharan and Sarita More. The trio won their respective categories to make it to the Indian team. Gursharan qualified in the 72kg category getting better of Naina of Haryana
