From being truck driver to Indian wrestler – Sonaba Gongane tells his own story

Sonaba Gongane – Indian Wrestler
A silver medal at the wrestling nationals is a big achievement for anyone, especially one who had once quit the sport and drove a truck — without licence — to support himself and his family for four years. Its been a long journey since than – just hear it out from the champion himself how he cleared every obstacle that came in his way, how he drove truck for years and how this journey on the same truck brought him back to the sport and how he is now Indian wrestling’s (Kushti) one of the brightest prospect for the future. The journey of Sonaba Gongane, the journey from a Truck Driver to the Indian national wrestler narrated by Sonaba himself.
How I started Wrestling – My first tryst with the sport
