Greco-Roman wrestling world cup – Japan includes world champion Ota and Fumita in 12-man squad

Tehran is all geared up for the Greco-Roman wrestling world cup on 28th November and Japan has announced there 12 member squad for the world cup. As expected both Kenichiro Fumita (60 kg, world no. 1) and Shinobu Ota are included in the Japanese squad. Fumita won his second Senior World title in September while Ota collected his first.
Japan has qualified for the Greco-Roman world cup after a long gap of 25 years. The last time they played in the world cup was in 1994 that’s the reason they don’t want to leave any stone unturned in preparing for the mega event. Japan is clubbed with Uzbekistan, Georgia and Hungary in Group B.
