Ritu Phogat to make MMA debut on Nov 16th in Beijing
Ritu Phogat stunned the entire wrestling fraternity to join the sport of mixed martial arts full time earlier this year. Now after preparing hard for the last 8 months, 24 year old is ready for MMA debut in Beijing on November 16th.
2017 Asian Championship Bronze medal winner will make her debut in Beijing, China at ONE FC: Age of Dragons at the Cadillac Arena. She will be fighting a Malaysian kickboxer Cindy Tiong.
Phogat has had a highly successful wrestling career having won a Gold medal at the Commonwalth Wrestling Championship back in 2016 in the 48-Kg weight category. She also won a bronze medal at the Asian Championship back in 2017.
The D-DAY for Ritu’s debut will be headlined by Ilias Ennahachi who will defend his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship against Chinese sensation Wang Wenfeng.
